this mount is the solution for scope and rings movement caused by recoil on spring piston air rifles.
my Gamo whisper fusion 1400 fps 177 cal pellet used to have this problem and was a really heatache to me. the scope and rings use to run over the dovetail every ten to fifteen shots., no matter how hard the screws were tight.  once I installed this mount that problem has dissapeared for ever... almost three years of consecutive use and the scope is still right in its place and holds zero at 30 yards shot after shot. totally.... the best upgrade for my Gamo.
